Petito

Petito was a freelance product design project combining health records, vet appointments, medication tracking, and pharmacy shopping in one app.

Its scope created two information-architecture problems: organising different tasks under one clear structure, and keeping the relevant pet visible in accounts with more than one animal.

Time-based content such as appointments, prescriptions, and reminders also needed a shared daily view rather than being fragmented across separate features.

Design approach

• Every pet carries its own identity — a colour, a full-bleed portrait, a card you recognise before you read it — so moving between animals takes no thought.
• Appointments and care records always belong to a specific animal, and the interface keeps that visible rather than leaving it to be assumed.
• Adding a pet runs as a short step-by-step flow that ends on the photo, so the form-filling pays off with the thing the owner actually wants to see.
• Care lives on one timeline. Medication, vaccination, exercise and vet appointments share a single day view, colour-coded by type.
• The pharmacy comparison sits at the decision point: price, arrival time and delivery fee side by side, rather than behind a single seller.
• Vets read as people — a photo, a rating with its review count, and the consultation price on the card, so booking doesn’t begin with an unknown cost.
• The whole thing is light and calm, with colour carried by the pet cards and photography. That system structure is what made packaging it as a UI kit possible later.

Outcome: multi-pet management, care scheduling, vet booking, and pharmacy flows were resolved within one product model and later packaged as a UI kit.
